Christmas with a Family

Just two and a half years ago, Christmas get-togethers were restful.  Now?  Hah.

Now we have two sticky-fingered children asking for more candy.

Two weepy, whiny children declaring that they aren't tired...but they proceed to take hour+ long naps.

One little girl who finally showed some excitment over her Christmas gift.  The one from Grandpa and Grandma.  She loves all that she receives, but doesn't show any enthusiasm generally.

She saw one of these when we were in Russia in September and has begged for one ever since.

One little boy who loves to open gifts, but loves even more to hide in a closet while eating his big sister's chapstick.  Strange, I know.

Cousins who cooperate in dressing up to act out the 'Christmas Story'......except for a certain child who decided at the last minute that he would in no way be an angel because that's what girl's are.  Grandma caved and let him have his way.

Doncha just love his shiny red robe?!  Please don't tell him that it's a girl's.

Excitment over all the gifts....

Along with all that, we've been blessed with extended family who loves to stay up til the wee hours of the morning chatting and laughing.

Family who loves to simply be together.

Family who knows how to have a good time...working and playing games.

Proud builders of a miniscule snowman.

Even the baby who wasn't feeling well, but still managed a couple smiles.

Family who loves the Lord Jesus Christ.

We've been so blessed.
