I don't even know how to start this. Way back in January while we were in Russia, a dear family who attends church with us had a nine/ten year old daughter pass away. As you can well imagine, life has changed for them, and they miss their daughter/sister very much. As we all do.
Have you ever heard the saying, 'when it rains it pours'? This family is living that statment right now.
Not too terribly long ago they found out that the daddy of the family has a tumor that must be removed. It is benign, so it'll be an in-n-out surgery, but will have a very long recovery as it is located in his shoulder. No lifting anything over 5 pounds in weight for quite a few weeks.
Just this past week they found out that their 13 year old daughter has a tumor at the base of the brain stem and the cerebellum. Not a good location whether it's benign or malignant. She goes in for surgery sometime very soon.
Could you all join us in prayer? I know that there's not a gigantic readership here, but there are folks from around the world who for some unkown reason continue to click back to this spot. Finland, Israel, Russia, Australia, Germany, France, Columbia, Canada, etc...... They need prayers from around the world.
Pray for the peace of God to settle over them.
Pray for the brain tumor to be benign.
Pray for strength for the mother of the family, Diana.
Pray for peace for the 13 year old, Justice, as she wonders what the outcome of this will be.
Pray for the entire family as they climb yet another mountain.
Pray.
Thank you, dear friends.
